This is the site of comic book artist and illustrator Fiona Staples. My website is unavailable at the moment while I update some things, but feel free to check out the sketches and art in my blog below! I know, I know, it's too pink.

I'm colouring PROOF

If you haven't heard of it yet, PROOF is an ongoing Image series by writer Alex Grecian and artist Riley Rossmo, about Bigfoot and his cryptid friends (and enemies). Issue #6 came out this week, significant because it begins a new story arc that I am colouring. Definitely check out this series, the story is a rollicking good time and Riley's art gets greater with each new issue.

This is his awesome cover:

Another thing: PROOF is worth the cover price just for the 2-page installments of Kelly Tindall's superb Archie Snow strip!

The Secret History of the Authority: Jack Hawksmoor

I'm currently drawing the 6-issue series "The Secret History of the Authority: Jack Hawksmoor" for WildStorm, written by Mike Costa! There is a preview of the first 5 pages up on the DC website. Check it out and let me know what you think! Go on, I can take it.

Before he was recruited into StormWatch, Jack Hawksmoor was a solitary urban hero, misanthropic and alone. While preventing a massive robot attack on the Golden Gate Bridge, Hawksmoor gets unexpected assistance from a woman he has more in common with than he realizes, then later stumbles upon a locked-room murder mystery. On top of all this, his city-born powers have been acting up — and he has a gumshoe's suspicion that all this may be connected.
